Eastern Oklahoma State College guard Brooklyn Fisher has earned her first Player of the Week award for the season. She was named the NJCAA Region 2 Player of the Week for Jan. 23-29. This marks the fourth time an Eastern women’s basketball player has earned distinction this season.

Fisher is a freshman from Oklahoma City. She is currently averaging 13.2 points per game while shooting 43.4 percent from the field and 29.2 percent from beyond the arc through 20 games. Fisher is also averaging 4.3 assists per game so far this season.
