The Latimer County Sheriff’s Office, the Red Oak Police Department, the Wilburton Police Department and the Choctaw Nation Tribal Police have been made aware of a possible violent action between a group of young adults and juveniles from Wilburton and Wister that has surfaced on Facebook, snapchat and other social media sites. Choctaw Nation Tribal Police, the Red Oak Police Department and the Latimer County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating reports of assaults that occured on August 4th at the Red Oak park. All departments will be on high alert and we strongly suggest those who wish to partake in this activity think twice as we will have a zero tolerance moving forward.
