Latimer County Sheriff’s Office Received a 911 Call from an Individual who had been Stabbed at a Residence Located off SE 1005th South of Wilburton

On June 30th at approximately 3:00 am the Latimer County Dispatch received a 911 call from an individual who had been stabbed at a residence located off SE 1005th south of Wilburton. Pafford Ems and deputies arrived and the victim was lifeflighted to Tulsa where he was later pronounced deceased. Chief Deputy Markus Ward, Deputy Duncan, Deputy Bray and Tribal Police Patrolman Cody Donoley arrived and started the investigation. The OSBI crime scene division and an OSBI Agent was requested to assist. The suspect was booked into the Latimer County jail for a failure to appear warrant and for pending charges from the investigation.  Once the report is completed it will be sent to the D.A.s office for the filing of charges through District Court. This investigation is still ongoing and the suspect is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. (We will not post the name of the victim as family notification hasn’t been made and we will not post the suspects name until charges are filed)
