Dalton McGinnis paced Southeastern to a sixth-place finish at the Hillcat Classic this week at the Bailey Ranch GC in Owasso, Okla.
 
The Savage Storm fired a three-round total of 909 which was 10 shots behind William Jewell just ahead of them at 899, but were 28 strokes ahead of seventh-place Sioux Falls.
 
Rogers State took home the top spot at vits home tournament, followed by Missouri S&T, Union, and Harding in the top-four.
 
Northwestern Oklahoma State was eighth, followed by Lincoln and Newman.
 
McGinnis put together back-to-back rounds of 73 over his first 36 holes, but a 77 on the final trip around would bring his total to 223 and finish tied for 11th.
 
Trent Zorgdrager was next in line with a 229 after posting rounds of 73, 80, and 76 which was good for a 19th place finish.
 
Jesse Rouse and Matthew O’Steen both finished tied for 23rd after posting final tallies of 231. Rouse got there with rounds of 80, 74, and 77, while O’Steen shot rounds of 82, 76, and 73.
 
Nick Keuss turned in rounds of 79, 81, 79 to card a total of 239 which was good for a tie for 40th, one shot ahead of teammate Madon Hale who carded rounds of 79, 85, 76 for a 240 to finish tied for 43rd.
 
SE Golf will be back in action March 20-21 at the Broncho Invitational at Rose Creek GC in Edmond, Okla.
