Megan McBride, a graduate education student at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, recently published a research paper in the Journal of Student Research.

The subject is “Public-School Teachers and Social Media: Understanding Free Speech and Constitutional Limitations.’’

Serving as her advisor was Dr. R. Stewart Mayers, Professor/Chair, Department of Educational Instruction and Leadership and Director of Teacher Education.

McBride is employed as a legal assistant with the Christensen Law Group in Oklahoma City. She is completing the requirements for her Masters of Education  in Curriculum and Instruction at Southeastern, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations with an emphasis on Business from the University of Oklahoma in 2020.
