After a two-and-a-half week break to observe the holiday season, Southeastern will return to the court in Great American Conference action when it hosts interstate rival Arkansas Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 5 followed by a Jan. 7 matchup versus Harding at 1 p.m., both in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The Savage Storm come into the contests with a 3-6 record overall on the year and a 1-3 mark in conference play.
 
The SE offense has been paced by Briley Moon’s 17.3 ppg as she shoots 48.6 percent from the floor overall and has knocked down 39.6 percent of her threes.
 
Caitlin Kobiske is next in line with 13.3 ppg, while Holli Lindley is third on the team in scoring at 8.0 ppg.
 
Kobiske leads the way on the glass for the Storm with 7.7 rebounds per contest while Moon is next in line with 5.7 per game.
 
Aimee Alverson has handed out a team-best 3.4 assists per game while Moon is averaging just under three per outing.
 
ATU comes to town with a 5-3 record on the season and a 3-01 mark in league play.
 
The Golden Suns are led by Jalei Oglesby who is averaging 19.5 ppg on the season while Kaley Shipman is next up with 11.3 per game.
 
Dana Thompson leads the team on the glass with 7.5 rebounds per game while Shipman is dishing out a team-best 2.5 assists per contest.
 
HU enters the weekend with an 8-3 record on the year and a 4-0 mark in GAC play.
 
The Bisons are led by Sage Hawley who is averaging 19.9 ppg and 10.5 rebounds per outing to lead the way in both categories.
 
Jacie Evans, Aubrey Isbell, and Rory Geer are each averaging in double-figures, while Evans is handing out a team-leading 2.4 assists per game.
