Southeastern’s Reese Taylor has been named the Great American Conference Pitcher of the Week after a pair of wins last week in key conference matchups.
The junior from Woden, Texas finished the week with a 2-0 record and a 0.48 ERA with 14.2 innings pitched across three appearances.
She tossed a pair of complete games, including a two-hit shutout in which she carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning before picking up the victory over HSU in Arkadelphia, Ark.
Taylor would allow 10 hits and strikeout 14, holding opponents to a .189 average for the week.
The wins lift her overall record to 6-4 with a 2.30 ERA on the season with 45 strikeouts.
