75 percent of applicants to Southeastern Oklahoma State University were admitted for fall 2018

At Southeastern Oklahoma State University, 72 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 54 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Durant enrolled 4,542 students in fall 2018, including 3,144 in undergraduate and 1,398 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

69 percent of undergraduates are residents of Oklahoma, and 29 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (55 percent) and two or more races (18 percent).

The school admitted 75 percent of the 1,207 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 65 percent enrolled.
