This week, deputies from our office have made two arrests as a result of violations of the Oklahoma Sex Offender Registration.

Our office was requested by the US Marshal Service to attempt to locate a female with a federal warrant. Information provided to our office stated the female could be at a residence in the Northwest part of the county.

The investigation led us to an address that Delmar Wood is using as his address of record in our office for the Oklahoma Sex Offender Registration.

Upon arriving at the residence, it was clear to deputies that Wood had not been present at the location for some time. Wood came to the sheriff’s office at our request, where Wood disclosed he had in fact been staying in Oklahoma City, and had not been at the address of record for several months. Wood was arrested for providing false/misleading registration information, a felony in Oklahoma.

A second arrest was made this week for a non-compliant offender.

David Radford was arrested Thursday afternoon for non-compliance with the Oklahoma Sex Offender Registration. Radford is required to register with our office quarterly, and was not current on registration.

Deputies went to Radford’s residence in an attempt to speak to Radford concerning his delinquent registration. Radford was not home, and a female at the residence provided a phone number to contact him. Radford stated he was on his way home, and stopped on S Katy Rd to meet deputies.

Radford was arrested for failure to comply with sex offender registration, a felony in Oklahoma.

The above incidents contain details of arrests, not convictions. Both individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Our office will hold persons accountable who are delinquent or provide false information on registrations pursuant to the Oklahoma Sex Offender Registration requirements.
