Jett Sternberger picked up first team All-Great American Conference honors while Brennen Burns was a second team All-GAC pick as the conference announced its year-end award on the eve of the GAC Tournament.
In addition to Sternberger and Burns, Kody Clouet was the league's only recipient of the GAC Elite Scholar Athlete award, while Max Chenault was named a Distinguished Scholar Athlete.
Sternberger, a native of Kingfisher, Okla., finished the regular season as the leading scorer for the Savage Storm and ranks fourth in the conference in scoring at 17.2 ppg while shooting 46.9 percent.
He has also pulled down 4.7 rebounds per game and added 3,0 assists with 1.5 steals per outing this year.
Burns, a native of Bethany, Okla., is second on the team in scoring with 15.4 ppg which ranks seventh in the league in scoring while he leads the GAC in assists with 4.9 assists per game.
He is shooting 53.2 percent from the field which ranks 11th in the conference, while pulling down 3.3 rebounds per game and snagging 1.7 steals per contest which ranks fifth in the GAC.
Clouet, a native of San Marcos, Calif., has ranked third on the team in scoring for the season with 12.1 ppg and is second on the team in rebounding with 5.3 rpg.
In the classroom he has completed his undergraduate work and is currently pursuing a master's in business administration.
Chenault, a native of Benton, Ark., has appeared in seven games for the Storm this season and is scoring 1.3 ppg in those appearances.
In the classroom he is in his third year as a biology major.
Southeastern completed the 2022-23 regular season with an 18-9 record overall and earned the No. 3 seed int eh conference tournament with a league record of 15-7.
